Qualifications

• Core competencies required for logistics coordination and escalation management.
• Proven ability to monitor shipments and coordinate timely escalation.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Monitor urgent and high-priority shipments and escalate to mitigate impact.
• Lead escalations with carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal teams.
• Develop and execute recovery plans to reduce shortages and disruption.
• Monitor weather, port congestion, labor activity, and geopolitical events.
• Provide clear status updates, risk assessments, and next steps.
• Manage service failures through root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Maintain escalation records, shift handoffs, and KPIs.
• Create logistics purchase orders as needed to support the team.
• Communicate with global stakeholders in English, verbally and in writing.
• Maintain SOPs, playbooks, contact lists, and escalation procedures.
• Participate in incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support training and cross-training for coverage continuity.
• Identify recurring risks and recommend preventive actions.
