Job summary

DIGLANT MANUFACTURING SDN BHD is seeking an experienced export sales professional to drive overseas market expansion, notably in China, Germany, and Europe. The role focuses on securing distributors and partners, building a robust pipeline, and negotiating terms to close orders.

You will coordinate with product and manufacturing teams to tailor market-ready solutions, travel for customer visits and exhibitions, and foster long-term relationships to ensure repeat business and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in export sales, international business development, overseas market expansion, or international key account management.
• Demonstrated experience in acquiring new overseas customers, developing export sales channels, managing commercial negotiations, and securing confirmed orders.
• Experience in furniture manufacturing, sofas, mattresses, upholstered furniture, home furnishings, or related consumer products is preferred.
• Practical exposure to China, Germany, or other European markets, including experience dealing with overseas buyers, distributors, or importers, would be advantageous.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally for customer visits, trade exhibitions, market development, and business negotiations when required.
• Mandarin language proficiency and experience managing cross-border customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop export sales across overseas markets, including but not limited to China, Germany and other European countries.
• Identify and secure distributors, importers, retailers, project buyers and business partners.
• Build a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, market research, exhibitions and customer visits.
• Present products, prepare commercial proposals and negotiate pricing, payment and delivery terms.
• Develop long-term customer relationships and generate repeat business.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
• Achieve export sales, margin and new customer targets.
• Managing international shipping, customs regulations, tariffs and export documentations.
