Job summary

Wilhelmsen is seeking a Central Customer Service Junior Coordinator (China & TW) in Kuala Lumpur. You will process RFQs and POs, assess urgency, and coordinate with LCS and Supply Chain to meet SLAs.

You’ll support both GCS and local customer service teams, handling inquiries and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. The role requires a Diploma and 2–3 years in logistics or order fulfilment, with strong English, MS Office skills, and a proactive, meticulous approach.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any field.
• 2–3 years in order fulfilment, supply chain or logistics.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Computer literate, MS Office skills.
• Ability to prioritise, be customer oriented with strong communication.
• Good planning, organizing and analytical skills.
• Independent with minimal supervision and as a team player.
• Capable of meeting deadlines with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Process RFQs and purchase orders from the group mailbox.
• Assess urgency based on ETA, port and customer type.
• Escalate or highlight delays to LCS when needed.
• Inform LCS of irregular RFQ/PO situations.
• Use systems to access customer information and requirements.
• Address customer-specific needs for each quote/order.
• Follow up with Supply Chain/LCS on outstanding tasks.
• Contribute to team discussions and training.
• Rostered work on Saturdays and public holidays; overtime if required.
• Comply with standard process and protocol.
