KPJ Kajang Specialist Hospital is seeking a proactive clinic receptionist to greet patients, manage appointments, and support smooth operations at our Kajang site. The role emphasizes courteous communication and accurate data handling in a busy outpatient setting.

You will coordinate with nurses and consultants, verify payments and insurance, and maintain tidy, welcoming reception areas, ensuring patient flow and service quality.

Formación

• Minimum SPM or Diploma in any discipline.
• 1–2 years of working experience in a clinic, hospital or customer service environment.
• Familiarity with outpatient clinic processes and healthcare terminology is an advantage.
• Experience with clinic management software or electronic health records (EHR) preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and courteously.
• Register, follow-up patients and update patient information accurately.
• Manage appointment bookings, rescheduling, walk-in queues and update patient appointments using the appointment system on daily basis.
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, direct calls to appropriate personnel, and answer email inquiries promptly.
• Verify payment, insurance and corporate panel entitlement before consultation.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate with nurses, consultants, and other services to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Ensure reception area is tidy, welcoming, and organized at all times.
• Guide cash payee foreigners to make necessary deposits before seeing the consultant and necessary investigations.
• Submit all statistical reports monthly and maintain documentation for Health Information Management Services.
