Job summary

KPJ Perlis Specialist Hospital invites a proactive Receptionist to join our front desk. You will welcome patients, manage registrations, appointments, and clinic operations while delivering courteous service and upholding privacy and hospital policies.

The role requires clear English and Bahasa Malaysia, willingness to work shifts, and a collaborative mindset to support doctors and clinics. Prior hospital experience is an advantage; training will be provided to use Encore Med, KPJ Cares Apps,

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Experience in hospital setting is an advantage.
• Strong telephone etiquette and customer service.
• Willing to work on scheduled hours, shift, weekends, public holiday and emergencies.
• Polite, patient, and courteous with a service-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Receive patients with or without appointment.
• Assist doctors during examinations as required.
• Ensure accurate patient registration and pre-admission handover.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records at all times.
• Coordinate with KPJ Cares Apps, Encore Med and e-referral portal.
• Ensure proper charge capture and documentation of transactions.
