Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital is seeking a front desk receptionist to warmly greet patients, manage registrations and open patient files. The role requires fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia and attention to confidentiality across clinic and hospital settings.

Experience with MS Office and basic regulatory knowledge are desirable. The successful candidate will contribute to smooth clinic operations and effective appointment systems in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• SPM with at least one year of working experience.
• Basic Course in Microsoft Office or its equivalent.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Knowledge of minimal clinical regulatory requirement.
• Able to interpret medical documents, write reports and professional correspondence.
• Preferred in multi languages.

Responsibilities

• Receive all patients cordially with or without appointments directed from Main Lobby, A&E and Special Diagnostic Services.
• Ensure registration with patient demographics, preparation of forms and opening a file for new patients.
• Maintain confidentiality and safety of patients at all times in the clinic and hospital.
• Maintain smooth clinic flows and implement effective clinic management (appointments, tidiness, etc.).
