Job summary

DEBEST CONTINENTAL SDN. BHD. is seeking a Logistics Operations Executive to coordinate logistics solutions per client requirements and manage shipments from origin to destination.

You will meet clients for feedback, arrange incoming shipments, and handle ongoing operations both domestically and internationally. The role requires 2 years of experience and strong MS Office proficiency, with opportunities for promotion and a yearly performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics or related field.
• 2 years of working experience in logistics, shipping or trading.
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics solutions per client requirements.
• Meet clients for shipment feedback and arrange incoming shipments.
• Handle ongoing shipment operations (domestic & international).
• Provide quotations and design logistics solutions with management support.
• Build relationships with domestic and international partners (liners/forwarders/transporter).
• Ensure timely delivery and resolve shipment issues.

Job description

Candidate qualified for Diploma & Degree qualification in Business Administrative, Logistics or related field.

Experience in shipping, logistics, trading will be a plus point

Able to work independently

Good in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

Fluent in Malay, English & Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients (preferable).

Min 2 years working experiences

What you'll do:

Working the logistics solutions as per client’s requirements.

Meeting existing clients for shipments feedback & incoming shipment arrangement if necessary

Handle & coordination on-going shipments operations (Domestic & International)

Offer quotation / design logistics solution on client’s enquiry (supported by Management)

Build relationship with domestic & international partners (liner / forwarder / transporter)

Coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that arise.

Commissions on top of the basic salary (basic salary to nego based on experience)
