Job summary

Continental Haulage Sdn. Bhd. in Klang, Selangor is seeking a dedicated Fleet Executive to manage fleet performance, maintenance scheduling, and driver supervision. The role focuses on safety, cost control, and reliable service delivery across our fleet.

You will monitor maintenance, track expenses, coordinate with workshops, and prepare KPI reports for management while promoting best practices in fleet operations.

Responsibilities

About the role

Continental Haulage Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet Executive to join our dynamic team in Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the efficient operation and management of our fleet operations. As a Fleet Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing fleet performance, maintenance schedules, driver management, and cost optimisation initiatives. This role is essential to ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and that we maintain the highest standards of safety and service delivery across our fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage fleet vehicle maintenance schedules, ensuring all vehicles are regularly serviced and roadworthy
• Track fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and other operational expenses to identify opportunities for cost reduction
• Coordinate with drivers and maintenance teams to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition and meet safety regulations
• Maintain accurate records of fleet performance metrics, vehicle histories, and maintenance documentation
• Identify and resolve fleet-related issues, including breakdowns, accidents, and performance concerns
• Prepare regular reports on fleet utilisation, efficiency, and key performance indicators for management review
• Liaise with external service providers, including mechanics and spare parts suppliers, to ensure prompt and cost-effective maintenance
• Support the implementation of fleet management systems and technologies to improve operational efficiency
• Assist in driver training and safety initiatives to promote safe driving practices and reduce accidents
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of fleet policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in fleet management or a related logistics role, preferably within the transport and haulage industry
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety regulations, and fleet operations
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret fleet data and identify trends
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with drivers, mechanics, and management
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in record-keeping and documentation
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take on new challenges
• Valid driving licence and a clean driving record
• Diploma or higher qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
• Experience with cost control and budgeting processes is advantageous

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Saturday: Alternate working schedule, with one Saturday working a full day (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and the following Saturday as a rest day.
