Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in haulage operations or logistics coordination.
• Proven track record managing fleet operations and transportation schedules.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysia transport regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities for multiple operations.
• Proficiency in logistics management systems and transportation software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external partners.
• Ability to analyse data and implement cost-saving improvements.
• Valid Malaysian driving licence and vehicle management knowledge.
• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily haulage operations and coordinate transportation schedules for on-time deliveries.

About the role

We are seeking a Haulage Operations Executive to join our operations team in Pasir Gudang, Johor. This is a strategic role within our warehousing, storage and distribution operations, where you will be responsible for overseeing haulage activities and ensuring smooth, efficient transportation operations. You will play a key role in optimising our logistics network, managing fleet operations, and maintaining service excellence across our distribution channels. This position is integral to supporting our company's growth and operational success in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Overseeing daily haulage operations and coordinating transportation schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Managing fleet utilisation, maintenance schedules and vehicle compliance to minimise downtime and operational costs
• Monitoring driver performance, safety protocols and adherence to traffic regulations and transport legislation
• Liaising with warehouse teams, customers and logistics partners to coordinate pickups, deliveries and special requirements
• Tracking shipments, managing delivery documentation and resolving any logistical issues or delays
• Optimising routes and load planning to improve efficiency and reduce fuel consumption
• Preparing operational reports, performance metrics and cost analyses for management review
• Implementing and maintaining health, safety and environmental standards across haulage operations
• Managing driver recruitment, training and development to maintain a skilled and compliant workforce

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in haulage operations, transport management or logistics coordination within a warehousing and distribution environment
• Proven track record of managing fleet operations, drivers and transportation schedules
• Strong knowledge of transport regulations, safety requirements and compliance standards applicable to Malaysia
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple operations simultaneously
• Proficiency in logistics management systems and transportation software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners
• Ability to analyse data, identify operational inefficiencies and implement cost-saving measures
• Valid Malaysian driving licence and knowledge of vehicle maintenance and management
• Diploma or degree qualification in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or related field
• Experience in warehouse management or inventory control would be advantageous
