Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence.
• 2–3 years of experience in logistics, delivery or transport driving.
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
• Knowledge of local roads and routes around Kelantan.
• Able to manage time and meet delivery deadlines.
• Physically fit to handle cargo loading/unloading.
• Good communication and professional attitude with customers.
• Familiarity with logistics software and GPS navigation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain company vehicles in good condition.

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver (Logistics) to join the LIMPAHAN ENGINEERING SDN BHD team. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur. As a Driver in our logistics operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers. This position is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellent service and reliability in the manufacturing, transport and logistics sector.

What you'll be doing

Operating and maintaining company vehicles in excellent condition, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Safely transporting goods and materials to designated locations according to delivery schedules and route plans

Loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution to prevent damage

Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption and any incidents or vehicle issues

Adhering to all traffic regulations, safety standards and company policies whilst operating vehicles

Communicating effectively with dispatchers, customers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth logistics operations

Performing routine vehicle maintenance and promptly reporting mechanical problems or damage

Optimising delivery routes to ensure efficient use of time and fuel resources

Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times

What we're looking for

Valid Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence appropriate for the vehicles you will operate

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics, delivery or transport driving

Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations

Strong knowledge of local roads and routes in and around Kelantan

Excellent time management and punctuality to meet delivery deadlines consistently

Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of cargo safely

Good communication skills and a professional, courteous attitude with customers

Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions accurately

Basic mechanical knowledge to identify and report vehicle maintenance issues

Familiarity with logistics software and GPS navigation systems
