Job summary

NZ New Image Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the full Finance & Accounts function for the Malaysia business. You will manage GL, AR/AP, treasury and taxation, ensure timely financial reporting, and provide insights for management decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (or ACCA/CPA/CIMA) with at least 8 years’ experience, including 3 in management. Proficiency in MFRS, tax, audit, Excel and ERP systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or a professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent) is required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS, taxation, audit, and Malaysian statutory requirements.
• Hands-on experience in financial reporting, month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and commercial skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to independently manage the Finance function with ownership.
• Experience in MLM/direct selling, retail or FMCG is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of finance functions for the Malaysia business, including GL, AR/AP, treasury and taxation.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Prepare variance analysis, forecasts and financial insights to support management decisions.
• Oversee cash flow planning, fund management and treasury operations.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory, tax and audit requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other advisers.
• Lead audit preparation and ensure timely completion of annual audits.
• Develop, monitor and review annual budgets, forecasts and business plans.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial processes.
• Coordinate with Head Office on member commission calculations and payments.
• Lead, coach and develop the Finance team.
• Support system improvements and business improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate with Head Office on member commission calculations and payments.
• Lead, coach and develop the Finance team.
• Support finance‑related system improvements and business improvement initiatives.

About you

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.
