Job summary

TATSUNO ENGINEERING & SERVICE MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a Finance & Accounts Manager to join and lead the finance team in Seri Kembangan, Selangor.

You will oversee financial planning, reporting, and compliance to support strategic objectives and ensure financial health across the organization. The role requires 5–7 years of accounting/finance leadership experience, strong ERP and accounting software skills, and knowledge of Malaysian tax laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or LCCI is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance management.
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, SST, and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience leading accounting teams and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders
• Manage budgeting processes and monitor budget variance against actual expenditure
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff members, providing guidance and support for professional development
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making and strategic planning
• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital to ensure optimal liquidity
• Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities on behalf of the organization
• Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets
• Manage payroll processing and functions.
• Any Ad-hoc assigned by the superior.

What we're looking for

• Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or LCCI is highly desirable
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance management roles
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Advanced knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, SST, E-invoice and financial reporting standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop accounting teams effectively
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software applications
• Knowledge of internal audit procedures and risk management practices
• Experience with multi-currency transactions and international business operations is advantageous
