TATSUNO ENGINEERING & SERVICE MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a Finance & Accounts Manager to join and lead the finance team. This is a full-time position based in Seri Kembangan, Selangor, where you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations and accounting functions of our organization. As Finance & Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, and compliance activities that directly support the strategic objectives of the company. This position is essential to maintaining the financial health and integrity of the business whilst ensuring efficient operations across all departments.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders
- Manage budgeting processes and monitor budget variance against actual expenditure
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff members, providing guidance and support for professional development
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making and strategic planning
- Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital to ensure optimal liquidity
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities on behalf of the organization
- Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets
- Manage payroll processing and functions.
- Any Ad-hoc assigned by the superior.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent professional qualification
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or LCCI is highly desirable
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance management roles
- Strong proficiency with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Advanced knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, SST, E-invoice and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop accounting teams effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software applications
- Knowledge of internal audit procedures and risk management practices
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international business operations is advantageous
