Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee strategic planning, budgeting, and treasury functions. You will manage statutory reporting, governance, and year-end audits, while coordinating with external auditors to ensure compliance with new MFRS and corporate governance guidelines.

You will lead the finance team, coordinate tax planning, and provide oversight of M&A activities, with responsibilities spanning all corporate/financial functions and stakeholder沟.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Consolidation knowledge and experience in manufacturing sectors.
• Ability to lead a finance team and work independently.
• Mandarin communication with Mandarin-speaking clients is required; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic and financial planning activities including cashflow forecasting and projections.
• Oversee annual budgeting and treasury management.
• Handle BURSA Malaysia announcements, compliance, and investor materials.
• Prepare statutory reporting, governance, financial statements, and year-end audits.
• Present audit findings to board of directors; ensure statutory compliance (tax, audits).
• Provide an overview of M&A activities and overall finance/accounting functions.

Job description

• Manage strategic and financial planning activities of the company including Cashflow Forecasting and Projections, Treasury management
• Involved in Annual Budgeting
• potential to manage all of the BURSA MALAYSIA announcement and dealing with compliance and answer to MSHWG and prepare Investor Pack
• Preparation of Statutory Reporting and Governance - including financial statements, Year-end Audit
• Preparation of Audit and presentation to the board of directors
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirement including audit, tax matters, and any other corporate governance (transfer pricing/ tax on employee shares scheme)
• Provide an overview of M&A activities.
• Responsible for management of all aspects of corporate/ financial/ accounting functions inclusive of financial planning, budgetary controls, treasury management, tax planning, forecasting & etc.
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion of annual audit of the Group with full compliance of new MFRS and corporate governance guidelines on Public Listed Companies.
• Any other duties as and when assigned from time to time.

Requirement

• Possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, MACPA, MIA, CPA.
• Minimum 10 years' working experience in manufacturing fields.
• Able to work independently and lead a Finance team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizen or hold relevant residence status.
• Consolidation knowledge and experience are required
• Proficiency in both verbal and written mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients. Bilingual or tri-lingual is a plus.
