The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations, and providing financial insights to support business decision-making.
The role will manage day-to-day finance and accounting activities, monitor the company's financial performance, prepare budgets and forecasts, and work closely with management and other departments to ensure sound financial planning and control.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee the company's daily financial and accounting operations.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Review financial transactions and ensure appropriate authorization and documentation.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Analyze financial results and provide explanations for significant variances.
Prepare the company's annual budget and financial forecasts.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure timely collection of outstanding customer payments and monitor supplier payments and maintain good payment practices.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and statutory regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and other professional advisors.
Coordinate the company's annual audit process.
Manage and ensure timely processing and payment of monthly payroll.
Lead, supervise, monitor the finance team's performance.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent is an advantage.
5 years & above of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably with managerial experience.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and accounting principles.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and AUTO Count system.
High level of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage.
