Job summary

OUCH Music Academy is seeking a Finance & HR Executive to manage accounting, payroll and HR administration. The role combines finance, payroll processing and employee records, with responsibilities across recruitment and onboarding in a small, growing organisation.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of relevant experience, a diploma or degree in a related field, and is comfortable with Bukku or similar accounting software. Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential.

Qualifications

• Formal education in accounting, finance, HR, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Malaysian payroll and statutory rules.
• Proficient with accounting software and spreadsheet tools.
• Experience with Bukku is an advantage.
• Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and financial administrative matters.
• Prepare and issue invoices, receipts and payment records.
• Monitor incoming payments and follow up on outstanding accounts.
• Perform bank and payment reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate records of expenses, purchases and transactions.
• Prepare monthly payroll and maintain staff salary records.
• Handle statutory contributions and submissions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB.
• Maintain employee records, contracts, leave and attendance documentation.
• Prepare employment letters, confirmation letters and other HR-related documents.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and offboarding of employees.
