Responsibilities

• Perform daily finance operations: AP/AR/GL, journal entries, fixed assets, petty cash, inventory records, and vendor management.
• Lead the monthly/quarterly/year-end close; prepare accurate schedules and management reports.
• Prepare financial reports (sales, cash flow, P&L) and support forecasts and cost analyses.
• Support tax computations and filings (MY SST/withholding/CP204, PCB/EPF/SOCSO/EIS) and liaise with tax agents.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and process documentation in line with MFRS/IFRS.
• Coordinate external audits and prepare deliverables and schedules.
• Perform bank reconciliations and payroll-related entries; collaborate with HR on payroll and statutory compliance.

Job description

• Perform daily finance operations: AP/AR/GL, journal entries, fixed assets, petty cash, inventory records, and vendor management.
• Lead your scope of the monthly/quarterly/year-end close; prepare accurate schedules and management reports.
• Prepare financial reports, including sales, cash flow, and profit & loss; support P&L forecasts, cost analysis, and manpower/pay analysis.
• Support tax computations and filings (MY: SST/withholding/CP204, PCB/EPF/SOCSO/EIS; SG where relevant: GST/IRAS), and liaise with tax agents and authorities.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and process documentation in line with MFRS/IFRS.
• Coordinate external audits and prepare audit deliverables and schedules.
• Perform bank reconciliations, oversee payroll accounting entries; work with HR on payroll, bills, payments, and statutory compliance.
