Job summary

A financial services organization based in Subang Jaya is seeking an experienced accounting professional to maintain a full set of accounts, execute closing processes, and prepare financial reports. This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, along with 2-4 years of relevant experience. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. Familiarity with the fintech industry would be advantageous. The position is on-site in Bandar Sunway.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant working experience, preferably with an audit background.
• Strong understanding of MFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Familiarity with the fintech or financial services industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of accounts in accordance with accounting standards.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Perform monthly bank & partners reconciliation.
• Process payments and collections in compliance with procedures.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting analysis.
• Coordinate with Finance Shared Service Centre and Group Finance.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS and internal control frameworks.

Job description

• Maintain fullset of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards andinternal policies.
• Execute monthly,quarterly, and year-end closing processes, including preparation of journalentries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Perform monthlybanks & partners reconciliation,ensuringtimely investigation and resolution of discrepancies.
• Process paymentsand collections in compliance with established procedures and internalcontrols.
• Prepare financialreports, schedules, and supporting analysis, including variance analysisfor management review.
• Coordinate with Finance Shared Service Centre andGroup Finance to ensure timely and accurate reporting deliverables.
• Support internal and external audit processes,including preparation of audit schedules and relevant documentation.
• Ensurecompliance with regulatory requirements, MFRS, and internal controlframeworks.
• Anyother ad hoc task as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or arelated discipline.
• 2 - 4 years of relevant workingexperience , preferably with an audit background.
• Strongunderstanding of accounting principles and applicable financial reportingstandards (MFRS).
• High levelof accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strongorganizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritieseffectively.
• Ability to workindependently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Familiaritywith the fintech or financial services industry would be an addedadvantage.
• Willing to work in Bandar Sunway.
