Asmech Holdings Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead our finance and accounting operations in Malaysia. The role covers budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysia financial regulations, GST/SST and tax matters.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software; ability to manage multiple financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance team in daily operations including AR, AP, GL, and cash flow management.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Develop, monitor, and report on budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, including SST and corporate tax filings.
• Oversee external audits and liaise with auditors and tax agents.
• Implement and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and processes.
• Support senior management in strategic planning, forecasting, and business analysis.
• Review and optimize accounting systems, including migration or integration projects.
• Mentor and guide junior finance staff to ensure professional growth.

This role will oversee the full spectrum of financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. The ideal candidate should be meticulous, highly analytical, and possess a strong understanding of Malaysia financial and tax regulations. This is a key leadership role responsible for supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant statutory bodies

Implement and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes

Support senior management in strategic planning, financial forecasting, and business analysis

Review and optimize accounting systems, including migration or integration projects where necessary

Mentor and guide junior finance staff to ensure professional growth and strong team performance

Requirements:
