We are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to lead our finance and accounting operations. This role will oversee the full spectrum of financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. The ideal candidate should be meticulous, highly analytical, and possess a strong understanding of Malaysia financial and tax regulations. This is a key leadership role responsible for supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring the financial health of the organization.
Lead and manage the finance team in daily operations including AR, AP, GL, and cash flow management
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
Develop, monitor, and report on budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics
Ensure compliance with local tax laws, including accurate and timely submission of SST and corporate tax filings
Oversee and coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant statutory bodies
Implement and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes
Support senior management in strategic planning, financial forecasting, and business analysis
Review and optimize accounting systems, including migration or integration projects where necessary
Mentor and guide junior finance staff to ensure professional growth and strong team performance
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification preferred)
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
Strong knowledge of Singapore financial regulations, GST, and tax matters
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
