is seeking an experienced Finance Executive/Assistant Finance Manager to oversee daily financial and accounting operations, including AR/AP, tax, reconciliations, budgeting, and project financial management. The role will work closely with other departments to resolve finance-related matters and support the smooth operation of the business, including tax compliance and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of AR, AP, tax, bank reconciliation, and financial processes.
• Good command of English (written and spoken); Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial transactions, payment processes, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage AR and AP, including invoice review, payment monitoring, and account reconciliation.
• Ensure timely tax compliance, including SST, CIT, CP204, stamp duty, and CIDB levy.
• Prepare project control documents, cashflow forecasts, and monitor project financial performance.
• Prepare re-measurement documents for final claims and update clients/consultants on payment certificates.

Overseedailyfinancialtransactions,paymentprocesses,andbankreconciliations.

ManageARandAP,includinginvoicereview,paymentmonitoring,andaccountreconciliation.

Ensuretimelytaxcompliance,includingSST,CIT,CP204,stampduty,andCIDBlevy.

Prepareprojectcontroldocuments,cashflowforecasts,andmonitorprojectfinancialperformance.

Preparere-measurementdocumentsforfinalclaimsandupdateclients / consultantsonpaymentcertificates.

Handleprojectinsurance,contractreview,andsalarycalculations(localandChinesestaff)

Communicatewithclientsonpaymentupdatesandcalculateinterestincomeforlatepayments.

Assistwithauditandtaxinquiries,andsupportCIT/transferpricingmatters.

Workwithotherdepartmentstoresolvefinance-relatedissues.

Requirements

Bachelor'sDegreeinAccounting,Finance,orrelatedfield.

Minimum5yearsofrelevantexperienceinaccountingorfinance.

StrongknowledgeofAR,AP,tax,bankreconciliation,andfinancialprocesses.

GoodcommandofEnglish(writtenandspoken).Mandarinisanaddedadvantage.

Detail-oriented,organized,andabletoworkindependently.

GoodExcelskillsandexperiencewithERPsystems(Oracleisaplus).

Experienceinconstruction/project-basedaccountingispreferred.

FamiliaritywithMalaysianSST,CIDB,andCITregulationsisanaddedadvantage.
