Job summary

Roche is seeking a seasoned Senior Finance Leader to guide the PEC operations team in Malaysia, ensuring accurate month-end closings, KPI reporting, and adherence to SOPs and internal controls. You will lead a group of senior analysts, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate cross-functional financial activities across taxing, reporting and reconciliation tasks.

The role requires at least 5 years in general/management accounting with 6+ years in people management, plus strong communication

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Finance & Accounting/Commerce or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years overall experience in General/Management Accounting.
• Minimum 6 years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and plan complete financial tasks including manual journal entries and month-end close.
• Coordinate and execute month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage a high performing team of senior analysts, set objectives, delegate tasks and monitor performance.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, local laws, ICFR, and internal controls during all activities.
