Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Executive Recruiters in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, seeks a Senior Finance Manager (Operations) to lead monthly management accounts, treasury, tax compliance, and robust financial controls under MFRS. You will liaison with auditors, regulators, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely closing and accurate reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting and at least 5 years in a similar role, with strong English and Mandarin communication and an ability to drive processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a senior finance role; Big 4 exposure is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/MFRS and tax regulations.
• Written and spoken English and Mandarin are required.
• Experience with group consolidation and internal controls is preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts and financial analysis reports.
• Oversee treasury functions including cash flow planning and liquidity management.
• Ensure full tax compliance and timely filing.
• Provide variance analysis and insightful commentary on financial performance.
• Oversee day-to-day finance operations and month-end close.
• Improve reporting formats, processes, and implement policy automation.
• Develop and implement robust internal controls and procedures.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulators.
• Stay updated on MFRS and statutory requirements.
• Complete ad-hoc projects as required.
