JAC Recruitment in Malaysia is seeking a senior accounting professional to lead comprehensive accounting and finance activities. You will ensure timely reporting, accurate closes, and compliance with IFRS and local standards while coordinating tax filings and statutory reporting.

The role requires expertise in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and collaboration with stakeholders to align financial objectives with business strategy. A strong track record in financial management is essential.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Experience managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
• Proficient in preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow statements.
• Knowledge of corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems, preferably SAP.
• Familiarity with IFRS and local accounting standards.

Responsabilités

• Manage full-spectrum accounting and finance functions.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports and analyses.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Coordinate tax filings and statutory reporting requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities.
• Maintain and improve ERP and financial reporting processes.
• Work closely with stakeholders to support business and financial objectives.
