ShopBack Pay in Malaysia is seeking a finance professional to own month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance across entities. You will lead variance analysis, build narratives for leadership, and bridge local GAAP with IFRS while coordinating with Treasury and Group Reporting teams.

The role supports statutory audits, MAS regulatory requirements, and strategic business partnering on launches and tax mechanics in a fast-growing region.

Qualificações

• Audit experience in Big 4 or equivalent.
• Bachelor's in Accountancy and/or Finance (or advanced degree).
• Open to various levels: 2nd/3rd-year senior associate to assistant manager or 4–5 years in a GL role.

Responsabilidades

• Own month-end close and reporting across multiple entities with a hard monthly deadline.
• Lead variance analysis with explanations equivalent to deal memos for P&L.
• Develop MoM and actuals-vs-budget narratives used by leadership.
• Bridge local GAAP with IFRS across markets.
• Own cash position and ensure business runway.
• Coordinate Treasury, Group Reporting, and SSC to drive processes.
