Job summary

Credit Bureau Malaysia seeks a Senior Executive to oversee the full spectrum of financial accounting and administration. You will drive month-end close, AR/AP, and intercompany reconciliations while preparing reporting packs and P&L commentary for management.

The role requires a degree in accounting (ACCA/CPA preferred) with at least two years in SME finance. Strong Excel, communication, and problem-solving abilities are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accountancy or equivalent (ACCA/CPA preferred).
• At least 2 years of accounting/finance admin experience in SME.
• Strong Excel and analytical/presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of meeting tight deadlines.
• Problem solving in unstructured and complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full spectrum of financial accounting and reporting (AR / AP / Interco, month-end close, fixed asset accounting).
• Handle month-end close activities from journal posting to reporting pack preparation.
• Perform P&L review with commentary on significant changes; investigate unusual balances.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare cashflow forecasts for cash management; support statutory accounts, audits, and tax filings.
• Business partnering with operation managers.
