Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for our real estate investment division. You will direct, mentor, and coach the technical staff, oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Facilities Management preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in operations and facilities management.
• Proven end-to-end talent management (hiring, coaching, appraisals).
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross‑department collaboration.
• Analytical with financial metrics and cost calculations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting and data analysis.
• Organized, detail-oriented with continuous improvement mindset.
• Facility manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and coach staff; oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and evaluations.
• Oversee daily facility operations, schedules, tasks, and SLAs.
• Build relationships with clients, vendors, site leadership, and internal stakeholders.
• Own P&L management, budget planning, expense tracking, and forecasting.
• Formulate long-term departmental goals, refine workflows, and enforce SOPs and safety/regulatory standards.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve facility engineering and system issues to prevent downtime.
