Job summary

Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur is seeking a strategic F&B leader to oversee Restaurants/Bars, Room Service and Banquets, driving brand initiatives and revenue growth. The role ensures exceptional guest service, financial performance, and leadership development across the F&B operation.

The candidate should bring substantial F&B leadership experience, strong budgeting skills, and a track record of implementing service excellence aligned with Marriott standards.

Qualifications

• Customer service principles and customer needs assessment
• Strategic planning and resource allocation for F&B operations
• Leadership to guide a large F&B team and influence others
• Understanding market dynamics and enterprise objectives

Responsibilities

• Sets expectations and holds F&B leadership team accountable for service behaviors
• Reviews financial reports and budget performance for F&B
• Makes CAPEX recommendations for F&B equipment and renovations
• Collaborates with leadership to improve department financial performance
• Develops and manages the F&B budget and monitors sales versus targets
• Ensures cash and liquor control policies are in place across F&B areas
• Leads with interpersonal skills to drive sound financial and business decisions
• Develops an F&B operating strategy aligned with brand strategy and executes it
• Reviews guest feedback and ensures corrective action with the F&B team
• Hires F&B leadership with strong expertise and entrepreneurial leadership
