Job summary

CIMC WETRANS MALAYSIA Sdn Bhd invites a proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage export bookings and liaise with shipping lines and co-loaders in line with customer requirements.

You will review schedules, confirm sailing dates, submit booking requests, and monitor progress while coordinating with internal operations and external carriers to ensure timely cargo planning and accurate documentation. Immediate joining is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in Logistics/Freight operations within export shipments.
• Strong communication with carriers and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and handle pressure.

Responsibilities

• Handle export bookings with shipping lines and co-loaders according to customer requirements.
• Review and confirm vessel schedules, sailing dates, and carrier availability.
• Prepare and submit booking requests accurately through carrier portals or email.
• Communicate with carriers on space confirmation, freight rates, container allocation, and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with internal operations teams, customers, and carriers to ensure timely cargo planning.
• Monitor booking status and update customers on changes such as rollovers or vessel delays.
• Ensure all export documents are submitted within deadlines.
• Assist in resolving booking discrepancies or operational issues.
• Maintain updated records of booking data for reporting and billing purposes.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with shipping line representatives.
