Job summary

Shipco Transport Inc. is seeking a proactive FCL Export Coordinator based in Klang to support customers daily, liaise with carriers, transporters and warehouses, and ensure timely execution of shipments in line with SOPs and workflows.

The role requires coordinating bookings, monitoring shipments until cargo arrival, and handling documentation efficiently. We are looking for candidates with a Diploma/Advanced/Higher in Logistics or related fields, strong communication, and organizational skills

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Logistics/Transportation or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customers’ inquiries on bookings and shipment status.
• Coordinate bookings preparation for customer cargoes and liaise with carriers.
• Monitor container status with carriers and update customers accordingly.
• Coordinate with warehouse on container statuses and vessel departure changes.
• Prepare railing instructions and coordinate with warehouse/truckers.
• Follow up with shippers on discrepancies in M3 or packages.
• Ensure all shipping documents are prepared within the required time frame.

FCL Export Coordinator

Description

The main function of this role is to assist customer in day-to-day, liaise with carrier, transporter, warehouse operator, fumigation, and ad-hoc task. Monitoring customer support, quotation and maintaining the volume and trade lane and ensure all procedures and time frames to be followed as per agreed SOPs and workflows & must be always adhered to.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customers’ inquiries on booking confirmation, and shipment follow up sailing confirmation, continuous monitoring of shipment till cargo arrival
• Responsible for bookings preparation for customer cargoes.
• Booking arrangement and follow up container status with carriers of containers.
• Dealing with warehouse over container status (change of vessels/departure date etc).
• Preparation of railing instructions and liaising with warehouse/truckers
• Follow up with shippers of any discrepancy in M3 or packages.
• Ensure all necessary shipping documents are in place within the given time frame
