Job summary

Jobstreet Malaysia is seeking a Supply Chain Executive to coordinate end-to-end logistics and ensure on-time delivery to customers. The role involves delivery planning, customer coordination, forwarding and haulage coordination, invoice verification, container tracking and maintaining accurate logistics records.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Degree in Logistics or related field, 4+ years in logistics, and strong Excel/Sheets skills with ERP familiarity.

Job description

The Supply Chain Executive is responsible for coordinating and monitoring end-to-end logistics and delivery activities to ensure products are delivered to customers accurately and on time.

The role involves delivery planning, customer coordination, forwarding and haulage coordination, invoice verification, container tracking, and maintaining accurate logistics records and reports.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily deliveries based on customer requirements, stock availability and delivery schedules.
• Monitor delivery status and ensure timely fulfilment of customer orders.
• Coordinate with internal teams and logistics service providers to address delivery issues or delays.
• Coordinate trucking arrangements, hauliers, delivery schedules and transportation requirements to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
• Coordinate with customers regarding delivery schedules, delivery requirements and order-related matters.
• Provide timely updates on shipment and delivery status.
• Coordinate with forwarding agents, hauliers and other logistics service providers for import and delivery activities.
• Maintain and regularly update container tracking information in the designated Google Sheet.
• Monitor container movement and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA).
• Prepare and maintain the Warehouse Logistics Report with accurate and up-to-date shipment and delivery information.

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• More than 4 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding or distribution.
• Experience coordinating with forwarders, hauliers and customers is preferred.
• Familiarity with Oracle EBS or other ERP systems will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of delivery planning, shipment tracking and logistics documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong coordination, follow-up and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with good organisational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
