About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on HR Executive to join our HR team, with primary responsibilities in Learning & Development (L&D) and Recruitment.
The role will support the Company’s talent needs by coordinating training and employee development initiatives while managing day-to-day recruitment activities. You will work closely with hiring managers, employees, training providers and other stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of both functions.
This role also provides exposure to broader HR activities and projects, making it suitable for someone who is keen to develop a well-rounded HR career.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer internal and external training programmes, including training schedules, registrations, attendance, evaluations, certificates and training records.
- Support the preparation and implementation of the annual training plan and training calendar.
- Coordinate with departments to identify training needs and follow up on employee development requirements.
- Liaise with external training providers and coordinate training arrangements.
- Manage HRD Corp grant applications, claims and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate training records and prepare training reports and analysis.
- Support training effectiveness evaluation, competency development and other L&D initiatives.
- Manage day-to-day recruitment activities, including job advertisements, resume screening, interview coordination and candidate communication.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and follow up on recruitment progress.
- Coordinate offer, pre-employment, onboarding and induction arrangements for new employees.
- Maintain recruitment records and monitor recruitment status and hiring progress.
- Support career fairs, recruitment campaigns and other talent sourcing initiatives where required.
- Assist with employee engagement and other HR activities and projects.
- Support HR process improvement, digitalisation and system enhancement initiatives.
- Perform other HR-related duties and projects as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with exposure to Learning & Development and/or Recruitment.
- Fresh graduates with relevant HR internship experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with HRD Corp grant and claim processes will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in coordinating with employees, hiring managers and external parties.
- Good organisational and coordination skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive and responsible, with a positive can-do and willing-to-learn attitude.
- A good team player who can also work independently on assigned responsibilities.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, follow up effectively and meet deadlines.
- Adaptable and open to changes, new initiatives and process improvements.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable using HR systems and digital tools.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
