Malaysia Smelting Corp Bhd in Malaysia (Selangor) is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resource Executive to lead Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, HR Operations and Employee Engagement. We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Human Resource Executive to support and manage key HR functions covering Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, HR Operations and Employee Engagement.
The successful candidate will work closely with employees, Hiring Managers and Management to ensure effective implementation of HR practices and compliance with Company policies and Malaysian employment legislation.
Manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviews, selection, offers and onboarding.
Conduct candidate screening and participate in interviews with Hiring Managers for Executive-level positions and below.
Coordinate the annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and develop, implement and monitor the Annual Training Plan and Training Calendar.
Work closely with the SHE Department and relevant departments to ensure mandatory, statutory, compliance and competency training is properly planned and conducted.
Manage HRD Corp grant applications and claims through e-TRiS.
Manage employee disciplinary matters, including preliminary fact-finding and preparation of show cause letters, warning letters and other IR documentation.
Coordinate and administer Domestic Inquiry (DI) proceedings and maintain proper IR case records.
Support Management and line managers in handling grievances, misconduct, absenteeism, performance and other employee relations matters.
Conduct employee engagement and regular plant/site walkthroughs to understand workplace issues and maintain effective employee relations.
Coordinate performance management activities, including confirmation reviews, annual performance appraisals and Performance Improvement Plans (PIP).
Support HR operations, employee lifecycle activities, HR audits and ISO/IMS compliance requirements.
Prepare HR reports, statistics, internal communications, memos and other HR documentation.
Support HR projects, policy reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management or related discipline.
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial or plant environment.
Strong hands-on experience in Recruitment, Learning & Development/Training, Employee Relations and Industrial Relations.
Experience handling disciplinary matters and coordinating Domestic Inquiry proceedings is preferred.
Familiar with HRD Corp/e-TRiS, TNA and training administration.
Good working knowledge of the Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967 and other relevant Malaysian employment legislation.
Experience in employee engagement, grievance handling, performance management and general HR operations.
Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and interact effectively with employees and Management.
High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
Must be willing to be based at Pulau Indah, Port Klang.
