Qualifications

• Diploma in Finance or Accountancy from a recognized institution.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and support daily accounting operations to ensure payments are accurate, on time and compliant with policies.
• Enter invoices from suppliers and service providers into the system.
• Reconcile AP Aging with Statements of Account before payments.
• Maintain supplier records in line with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Carry out intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with internal teams and counterparties.
• Support month-end closing by clearing suspense balances and processing back charges.
• Ensure records meet SST, Withholding Tax and other local tax requirements.

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Executive to join our Finance team. You will manage accounts payable and support daily accounting operations in a manufacturing environment. This role suits a detail-oriented person who takes pride in keeping financial records accurate and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and support daily accounting operations to make sure payments are accurate, on time and follow company policies.
• Enter invoices from suppliers and service providers into the system.
• Reconcile the AP Aging report against Statements of Account (SOA) before making payments.
• Keep proper supplier records in line with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Carry out intercompany reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and work with internal teams and counterparties to resolve them.
• Support month-end closing by clearing suspense account balances, processing back charges and making sure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Make sure all records meet SST, Withholding Tax and other applicable local tax requirements.
