Job summary

Fortune Food Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is hiring an Accounts Executive to support finance operations and ensure accurate accounting records. The role focuses on month-end closures, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with statutory requirements.

You will prepare supplier payments, manage bank reconciliations, and maintain inventories, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver timely and accurate financial information.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
• Good written and verbal communication, collaborative skills.
• Able to maintain full sets of accounts.
• Organized, meticulous, and able to work independently.
• Preferably with manufacturing industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting transactions in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Assist in monthly close and year-end closing.
• Assist with yearly budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare payments for supplier invoices and staff claims.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation, intercompany and AP reconciliation.
• Monitor plant cash flow.
• Conduct monthly inventory cycle counts.
• Issue Sales invoices (E-Invoice) and related documentation.
• Submit E-invoices in compliance with LHDN.
• Assist bi-monthly SST submissions.

Job description

To ensure proper factory account maintenance and management of accounting transactions in compliance with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting transactions in compliance with statutory and requirements
• Assist in month end and year-end closing
• Assist for yearly budgeting and forecasting
• Payment preparation for supplier invoices and staff claim
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation, Interco and AP reconciliation
• Monitor cash flow for plant's operation
• Perform monthly inventory cycle counts
• Issue Sales invoice (E-Invoice) & related documentation (export permit)
• Ensure E-invoice submission in compliance with LHDN requirement
• Assist in bi-monthly SST submission

About you

• Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in MS Excel and experience or knowledge of any accounting software is a plus
• Good written, verbal communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to maintain full sets of accounts
• Must be organized meticulous and able to work independently
• Preferably with working experience in Manufacturing industry
