ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL ENGINEER (SNACK PLANT)

Key Differences: Electrical vs. Mechanical

Electrical Engineering: Focuses on power generation, wiring, circuits, lighting, and electrical control panels.

Mechanical Engineering: Focuses on moving parts, thermodynamics, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and machinery.

Combined M&E Role: Integrates both disciplines so that electrical power systems and mechanical equipment work together smoothly within a facility.

Core Responsibilities

Design Systems: Plan electrical layouts, lighting, ventilation, and water supply networks for projects.

Oversee Installation: Ensure contractors install machinery and wiring according to safety codes.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose equipment failures and manage routine facility repairs.

Quality & Safety: Check that all systems comply with local regulations and energy efficiency standards.
