Job summary

Food Excellence Specialist Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Warehouse Lead to manage the warehouse team in Malaysia, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and storage of pallets. You will oversee safety, equipment use, and timely reporting, coordinating with Procurement, Sales and QA.

The role requires 5+ years in warehouse operations with 2+ years in supervision, strong leadership, and Mandarin proficiency for stakeholder communication. Experience with WMS and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant warehouse operations experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, stock management and FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Familiar with WMS and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS and HALAL is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with other departments; Mandarin proficiency required.

• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job description

Lead and manage whole Warehouse team to ensure correct picking, packing, restoration and retrieval of pallets/goods.

Ensure equipment, tools and machineries are used in a proper manner with good housekeeping.

Timely update of reports, system transactions and location transfer.

Coordinate with Procurement on incoming goods.

Coordinate with Sales and Logistic on outgoing arrangement.

Liaise with QA on incoming and outgoing procedure.

Monitor incoming/outgoing transactions and record accordingly.

Preparing Inventory report.

Responsible for Food Safety System implementation ( e.g HACCP, GMP, FSSC22000, BRC, IFS, HALAL).

Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the food manufacturing industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Good knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, stock management and FIFO/FEFO practices.

Familiar with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge of food safety and quality management systems such as HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS and HALAL will be an added advantage.

Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.

Able to work independently, manage the warehouse team and coordinate effectively with other departments.

Able to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.

Proficiency in Mandarin is required for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
