Google for Education Lead in Malaysia will helm a cross-functional Go-to-Market team to drive commercial growth for Workspace for Education, Gemini, and Chromebooks across K-12 and higher education. You will partner with government bodies, OEMs, and local partners to scale education technology adoption and AI integration, while shaping policy and ecosystem collaborations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in business development, sales or consulting, within education technology, enterprise software, or hardware.
• Experience in navigating and closing procurement projects with public sector clients, government ministries (e.g., KPM/MOHE equivalent), or institutional educational bodies.
• Experience in leading and executing GTM strategies or cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate in Malay and English fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

• Lead a cross-functional GTM team to execute a country-level strategy, balancing long-term investments with daily sales.
• Build executive-level partnerships with executive government officials, regulatory agencies, and policy making bodies to drive large-scale national education programs.
• Engage global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and local partners to scale hardware and software distribution. Collaborate on business plan execution to achieve ecosystem sales goals.
• Act as an AI advocate leading the Gemini GTM strategy. Help K12 and higher education institutions integrate AI into learning and research while establishing academic ecosystem partnerships.
• Support national education adoption programs. Drive training and teacher upskilling to enhance teaching and learning at scale.
