Job summary

Salutary Avenue Manufacturing Services Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a skilled Drafter to prepare and modify 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

The role involves developing fabrication-ready drawings that meet project specifications and coordinating with Engineering and Production teams. The ideal candidate holds a diploma or certificate in mechanical engineering or related field, and demonstrates strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Design or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Able to prepare, develop and modify technical drawings.
• Familiar with mechanical drawings, fabrication drawings and engineering designs.
• Able to interpret technical specifications and engineering requirements.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

This role involves preparing, developing and modifying technical drawings using industry-standard software. You will work with 2D and 3D engineering designs, ensuring all drawings comply with engineering specifications and are suitable for fabrication and production.

Key responsibilities

Prepare 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks

Develop and modify technical drawings according to project requirements

Prepare detailed drawings for fabrication and production

Ensure drawings comply with engineering specifications

Coordinate with the Engineering and Production teams

Maintain and update technical drawing records

About you

Minimum Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Design or a related field

Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks

Able to prepare, develop and modify technical drawings

Familiar with mechanical drawings, fabrication drawings and engineering designs

Able to interpret technical specifications and engineering requirements

Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
