SF Metal Sdn Bhd is seeking a Despatch Coordinator in Penang to manage order processing, scheduling deliveries, and ensuring accurate documentation before shipment. You will coordinate with drivers, logistics teams, and warehouse staff to ensure timely and compliant despatch operations.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, proactive issue resolution, and strong communication with customers and team members in a fast-paced environment.

Descrizione del lavoro

Receiving and processing despatch orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete before goods leave the facility

Coordinating with drivers and logistics teams to schedule deliveries and optimize route efficiency

Verifying that all items are correctly packed, labelled, and loaded onto vehicles in accordance with delivery requirements

Maintaining detailed records of all despatch activities, including delivery confirmations and customer communications

Tracking shipments and providing customers with delivery updates and status information

Resolving any despatch-related issues, including damaged goods, missing items, or delivery delays

Liaising with customers and warehouse staff to ensure seamless communication and problem resolution

Assisting with general warehouse duties as required, including sorting and organizing goods for despatch

Ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed within the despatch area and during delivery coordination

Perform Ad-hoc tasks from HOD/management

What we're looking for

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation

Reliable communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with customers, drivers, and team members

Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks as part of the role

A valid driving licenses is advantageous, though not essential

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues

Knowledge of road transport regulations and logistics best practices is preferred
