Job summary

EASYGO VENTURES SDN BHD is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead multiple site-based projects, overseeing planning, scheduling, and coordination with engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.

The role requires 3–5 years in data centers or related fields, willingness to travel domestically and internationally, and fluency in Mandarin and English for communication and documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, EE, telecoms or related fields.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Data Center, Server, Network, Structured Cabling or Project Management.
• Willing to travel locally and internationally per project needs.
• Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) is mandatory.
• Good command of English for project communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall planning, execution, coordination, and delivery of multiple Data Center projects.
• Develop project schedules, manpower plans, resource allocation, and work arrangements based on project requirements.
• Coordinate and supervise engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage multiple projects and sites simultaneously, ensuring progress, quality, manpower and deliverables.
• Coordinate server installation, hardware replacement, troubleshooting, cabling, testing, and related activities.
• Coordinate Testing & Commissioning, Punch List, Rectification, Documentation, and Final Project Handover.
• Ensure site activities comply with customer requirements, SOPs, safety, and project specifications.

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Data Center, Server, Network, Structured Cabling, Telecommunications, or Technical Project Management.

Conduct regular site visits and provide technical/project support when required.

Coordinate manpower and resources across different projects, sites, and locations.

Willing to travel locally and internationally according to project requirements.

Willing to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required by project schedules or urgent site activities.

Maintain communication and respond to project-related matters outside normal working hours, including weekends, when necessary.

Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) is mandatory.

Good command of English for project communication and documentation.

Job Responsibilities

Manage the overall planning, execution, coordination, and delivery of multiple Data Center projects.

Develop project schedules, manpower plans, resource allocation, and work arrangements based on project requirements.

Coordinate and supervise engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Manage multiple projects and sites simultaneously, ensuring project progress, quality, manpower, and deliverables are properly controlled.

Possess strong technical knowledge of Server Hardware, Network Infrastructure, Structured Cabling, Fiber Optic Cabling, Rack & Stack, PDU, and Data Center Infrastructure.

Coordinate server installation, hardware replacement, troubleshooting, cabling, testing, and related technical activities.

Read and interpret technical drawings, floor plans, rack layouts, cable routing diagrams, fiber/cabling diagrams, project specifications, and As-Built drawings.

Review project documents, work orders, site records, testing results, and technical reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Prepare and consolidate Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Weekly/Monthly Progress Reports, Manpower Reports, Testing Reports, Completion Reports, and project documentation.

Monitor project schedule, manpower utilization, work quality, testing progress, and overall project performance.

Coordinate with customers, main contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams regarding project requirements, site access, work schedules, technical issues, and project progress.

Identify and manage project risks, technical issues, manpower shortages, schedule delays, and resource constraints.

Coordinate Testing & Commissioning, Punch List, Rectification, Documentation, and Final Project Handover.

Ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance with customer requirements, Data Center SOPs, safety requirements, and project specifications.
