Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan GMRecruitment Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale data centre construction in Kuala Lumpur. You will drive on-time delivery, budget control, and strict safety and quality standards, coordinating with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and authorities.

Requires 15–20+ years in mission-critical PM, a Civil/Mechanical/Electrical background, and fluent English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required.
• 15–20+ years of project management experience in mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of data centre construction and MEP systems.

Job description

Lead the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical data centre projects. You'll be accountable for executing projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards — providing strategic leadership, managing local project teams, and coordinating with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of multiple construction projects from inception to handover.
• Provide leadership to project teams and coordinate across departments, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the primary point of contact with clients, contractors, supply chain, and authorities.
• Own EHS compliance (Bridge EHS process/policy) and maintain ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 standards.
• Manage budgets, manpower, and materials to meet project goals.
• Support site due diligence, land acquisition, and RFPs; maintain full project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or related engineering.
• 15–20+ years' project management experience in mission-critical facilities, with a proven track record on large-scale data centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of data centre construction, including CSA and MEP applications.
• Full construction lifecycle experience — mobilization through testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (read and write).
