Job summary

JAC Recruitment is seeking a Key Account Manager/Sales Manager in Malaysia to drive business growth and strengthen customer relationships across the data centre sector. You will lead end-to-end sales cycles, expand strategic accounts, and collaborate with global teams to deliver compelling commercial proposals.

The role requires 4–6 years of relevant sales experience and strong English communication skills. A CDCP or related qualifications are advantageous for this position in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant sales, business development, or account management experience.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• CDCP certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Technical knowledge of networking and electrical systems in the data centre industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth by expanding existing business and acquiring new customers.
• Support regional and global sales teams in growing strategic accounts.
• Manage end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to delivery.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships as trusted advisor.
• Develop sales strategies; monitor industry trends and competitors.
• Prepare proposals, RFx/tenders, and support negotiations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Marketing for projects.
• Represent the company at industry events to generate opportunities.
• Drive account management and customer retention initiatives.
• Support market expansion activities and site evaluation projects as needed.
• Maintain CRM records of interactions, leads, and pipeline.
