Johnson Controls is seeking a Sales Engineer – BMS for Malaysia to drive adoption of BMS and controls in data centers. You will engage hyperscalers, EPCs, consultants, and developers to influence early design decisions and shape system specifications.

You will manage technical proposals, tenders, and demonstrations, aiming to secure contracts and grow the business while maintaining strong forecast accuracy and market insight.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field (required).
• 2–5 years of experience in BMS, Controls, ELV, or mission-critical M&E systems.
• Strong understanding of BMS architecture, HVAC controls, chiller plant sequencing, networked controls, and integration protocols (BACnet/IP, Modbus, OPC, API).
• Ability to interpret data center designs, redundancy configurations (N, N+1, 2N), and monitoring strategies.
• Experience engaging consultants, EPCs, and key DC stakeholders.
• Experience preparing SOO, points lists, wiring diagrams, and tender documents.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to succeed in project-based technical sales.
