Job summary

Princeton Digital Group (PDG) invites applications for a Systems Engineer – BMS Control/Application based in the Johor Data Center. You will lead system-related technical discussions, study and negotiate BMS requirements, and coordinate with contractors for daily operations and preventive maintenance.

The role requires a deep understanding of Building Management Systems and related control networks, with 3–5 years in BMS/DCIM/EPMS/SCADA environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering/Instrumentation & Control or Building Services.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in BMS/DCIM/ EPMS/FMCS/Modbus TCP/ RTU/PLC/SCADA/BACnet.
• Knowledge of Data Center and/or other mission critical facilities design, operation and maintenance.
• Essential knowledge in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control, fire protection and security systems.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word, BMS/ EPMS, CMMS/ DCIM, ERP, Microsoft BI.

Responsibilities

• Establishment of the Data Center Building Management System for new and existing setup, including all technical aspects of the Project.
• Liaise with relevant contractors for daily BMS related operation and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Support the project team in Site Acceptance Test and integration testing during handover.
• Sustain BMS operations by ensuring timely maintenance of instrumentation, electrical, mechanical and fire protection systems.
• Review performance data and initiate corrective actions for system improvements.
• Respond promptly to fault finding, diagnosis and recovery during breakdowns.
• Support real-time dashboard development for capacity monitoring and maintenance regimes.
• Assist CMMS development for TCO forecasting, budgeting, purchasing and cost control.
• Draft, review and revise operation documents such as Emergency procedures, SOPs, tender specs and Change Management.
