SK 8 ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. is seeking a Sales Engineer Manager in Malaysia to drive aftersales growth through AMC, preventive and corrective maintenance, spare parts, refurbishment, retrofit and upgrade projects.

You will identify opportunities in existing accounts and lead site visits to tailor service solutions for data centre operators and industrial clients. You will build relationships, prepare proposals, and coordinate with service teams to deliver on SLAs while expanding recurring service

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduates with a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering disciplines are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in managing Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and Service Level Agreements (SLA) is preferred.
• Familiarity with mission-critical facilities and 24/7 service operations is an advantage.
• Good understanding of generator enclosure systems, diesel generator support systems, mechanical and electrical equipment, HVAC and ventilation systems, acoustic enclosures, fuel systems, and preventive & corrective maintenance.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems.
• Good command of Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is required to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers, suppliers, and business partners.
• Strong customer service, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and willing to travel for customer visits, site inspections, and emergency support.

Responsabilités

• Develop and expand the aftersales business through Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, spare parts, refurbishment, retrofit, and upgrade projects
• Identify opportunities within existing customer accounts to increase recurring service revenue
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand operational challenges and recommend suitable service solutions
• Build strong relationships with data centre operators, facility managers, consultants, EPC contractors, and end users
• Prepare service proposals, maintenance contracts, quotations, and technical documentation
• Conduct site inspections and technical assessments to identify maintenance requirements
• Work closely with Service Engineers and Service Coordinators to plan maintenance schedules and mobilise manpower
• Monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with customer requirements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding maintenance schedules and service recommendations
• Identify new service opportunities within the data centre and industrial sectors
