Unknown company in Malaysia is seeking a Sales professional for IT Infrastructure products and related services. You will drive local sales and market development, build relationships with end users and consultants, and lead strategy to meet annual IT sales targets.

The role requires a degree in engineering or CS and 3-4 years in data center sales, with a strong network in enterprise IT sectors and willingness to entertain clients after hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science required.
• 3-4 years of sales experience in the Data Center Infrastructure business environment.
• Extensive experience in specification works with End Users and consultants in the Data Center Infrastructure industries.
• Self-driven, sales oriented with strategic ability.
• Extensive network of contacts in commercial enterprise Data Center industry (Banking, Finance, Insurance, Government, Retail, etc.).
• Willing to spend time outside of working hours to entertain customers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for local sales & market development of IT Infrastructure portfolio and related services.
• Responsible for market and product strategy.
• Meet and exceed IT Business Sales Budget every year.
• Develop new business and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
• Lead relationship management with key customers, design houses and IT/Data Center market stakeholders.
• Develop IT components distributors.
• Conduct market studies (size, share) and competitive profiling.
• Ensure Profit Centers achieve local market share and meet annual budgets.
• Identify key projects and map key players in the industry.
• Ensure visibility of factors affecting Company’s market presence.
• Implement commercial agreements, prepare proposals and negotiate to close sales.
• Support and train company sales teams in assigned products/territories.
• Identify customer needs, analyze price, offer and negotiate to secure orders.
• Review customer complaints and relay data to the appropriate department.
