Job summary

Talent Recruit is assisting a leading E&M group of companies in the Asia Pacific region to hire for the role of Aftersales Assistant Manager, based in Malaysia.

You will lead aftersales service operations for HVAC systems in data center environments, build and develop the team, provide technical support and coordinate maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years with Danfoss Turbocor oil-free compressors and software tools.
• Hands-on HVAC aftersales, maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong background in data center cooling environments.
• Knowledge of chillers, cooling towers and related HVAC components.
• Ability to analyze system performance and optimize efficiency.
• On-call availability to respond to emergency service requests.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer-focused mindset.
• Strong communication with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Working days: Mon - Fri, 9:00am - 6:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support aftersales service operations for HVAC systems in data centers environments.
• Build and develop the aftersales service team, ensuring strong technical capabilities and efficient workflows.
• Provide technical support, training, and guidance to customers and service teams.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and emergency repairs to ensure minimal downtime.
• Be on-call to respond to urgent customer needs and emergency system failures.
• Work closely with other teams to enhance customer satisfaction and optimize system performance.
• Manage and improve service documentation, reports, and warranty claims.
