Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd in Johor, Malaysia seeks a Service Manager to lead after-sales and maintenance operations for diesel generator systems and related electrical equipment supporting data centre infrastructure. You will manage a regional team of service engineers and technicians, ensure safety and high-quality service, and coordinate with OEMs on complex issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in diesel generator service or critical power systems.
• Experience with data centres or mission-critical facilities is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in technical tender preparation and proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional team of Service Engineers and Technicians to deliver safe, timely service.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance and troubleshooting of diesel generators.
• Ensure compliance with service standards, safety procedures and OEM guidelines.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and OEMs on complex issues.
• Prepare technical proposals and service tenders for EPC contractors and data centre clients.
• Develop service scope, maintenance plans and commercial proposals.
• Maintain relationships with data centre operators, EPC contractors and facility managers.
• Track service KPIs and drive maintenance improvements.
• Identify opportunities for service contracts, upgrades and lifecycle support.
• Occasional travel may be required.
