Job summary

SWIFT GROUP OF COMPANIES is seeking a Customs Declaration Assistant (Import & Export) to handle all types of declarations accurately and within deadlines. You will prepare draft declarations from service team documents, verify forms, and ensure submissions align with regulatory requirements.

You will use MYCIEDS and FOSIM systems, monitor statuses, maintain records, and provide admin support to the team at Sijangkang, Kuala Langat.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in customs declaration, freight forwarding, logistics, or related field.
• Knowledge of customs procedures, import/export documentation, and declaration processes.
• Familiarity with MYCIEDS and FOSIM will be an added advantage.
• Able to prepare and process declarations accurately within tight deadlines.
• Good understanding of shipping and logistics documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and related systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and multitasking skills.

CUSTOMS DECLARATION ASSISTANT (IMPORT & EXPORT)

Customs Declaration

• Perform all types of customs declarations accurately and within the required timeline.
• Ensure all shipping documents received from the service team are attended to within the same day for draft declaration preparation.
• Prepare and process declarations in a timely and accurate manner.
• Verify customs forms before forwarding them to the service team for confirmation and approval.

Customs Documentation Submission

• Submit declarations through the customs declaration system.
• Process and submit declarations via the MYCIEDS system.
• Monitor and track declaration status to ensure smooth clearance processes.
• Update work progress and upload customs documentation into the system for the service team's reference.

FOSIM Submission

• Log in to the FOSIM system to perform submission processes and obtain the necessary approvals.

Administrative & Operational Support

• Maintain proper records of all declarations and related documentation.
• Organize and file documents systematically for future reference and audit purposes.
• Provide operational and administrative support for day-to-day tasks assigned by the superior.

Experience / Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customs declaration, freight forwarding, logistics, or related field. However, fresh SPM holder are welcome to apply, even without prior work experience.
• Knowledge of customs procedures, import/export documentation, and declaration processes.
• Familiarity with customs declaration systems such as MYCIEDS and FOSIM will be an added advantage.
• Able to prepare and process declarations accurately within tight deadlines.
• Good understanding of shipping and logistics documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and related operational systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external parties.

Candidates must be willing to be based at Sijangkang, Kuala Langat, Selangor
