Job summary

WONG ENGINEERING CORPORATION BHD in Kedah seeks a detail-oriented operations coordinator to manage customer orders and delivery coordination. You will liaise with customers on purchase orders, generate standard orders in EPICOR, and work with warehouse and planning teams to meet delivery dates and resolve issues.

Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required. Additionally, you will prepare periodic reports on billing, inventory, and forecasts, and participate in meetings to support

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia required.
• Mandarin is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP/order processing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customer on confirmed purchase orders.
• Generate standard orders in EPICOR after receiving POs.
• Review finish good balance and arrange delivery with warehouse.
• Notify planner to obtain target delivery date when stock is short.
• Follow up with planner on delivery date.
• Notify customer of delivery status.
• Coordinate delivery with warehouse.
• Handle customer complaints after delivery.
• Notify departments upon receiving complaints.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports (billing, FG, inventory, forecasts, Interco pricing).
• Attend internal or external meetings.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
• Follow environmental policies and regulatory requirements.

Job description

Liaising with the customer on the confirmed purchase order.

Generating standard orders using the“EPICOR”system upon receiving a purchase order from a customer.

Review current finish good balance quantity and make delivery date arrangements with the warehouse if stock is available.

Notify the Planner of the customer order to obtain a target or planning delivery date if there is no balance stock or new production output is required.

Follow up with the planner on the committed delivery date.

Notify the customer of the delivery status

Liaise with the warehouse for the delivery arrangement

Handle customers' complaints for any related issues after the delivery date.

Notify the respective department/ section upon receiving customer complaints, if any

Prepare a report on a weekly and monthly basis which includes consignment billing, report billing, FG report, inventory report, forecaster report, and maintaining Interco pricing

Attend internal or external meetings

Any other tasks as and when assigned by the Management

Follow the Company’s environmental policy and procedures and comply with any environmental-related legal or regulatory requirements.

Language Requirements: Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required. Mandarin proficiency will be an added advantage.
