Job summary

N.S. Auto Parts Industries Sdn. Bhd. invites applications for a Production Planning & Control Engineer to monitor progress against the Master Production Schedule and improve efficiency in a busy automotive components plant in Senawang.

The role provides technical and supervisory support, ensures IPQC compliance, drives quality initiatives under ISO 9001:2015, and collaborates with multiple departments to solve production and process challenges while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing and ISO 9001 knowledge advantageous.
• Proficient in Excel in a work environment; ERP experience advantageous; CAD like GstarCAD beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production progress per Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Provide technical and supervisory support in manufacturing processes.
• Ensure IPQC adherence and drive quality improvements to reduce rejects.
• Participate in product and process development including new projects and machines.
• Develop and implement ISO 9001:2015 quality system.
• Lead department meetings to troubleshoot production issues and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain clear communication across departments on PPC/MPS related updates.
• Uphold safety, health and environmental standards.
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Job description

Monitor production progress as per Master Production Schedule (MPS) and ensure maximum efficiency with continual improvement in production planning & control.

Technical & supervisory support in manufacturing processes

Ensure IPQC is properly adhered to and to continually seek improvements to reduce poor quality / rejects.

Product and process development including new project, new processes, machine design, manufacture and maintenance.

ISO 9001:2015 Quality System Development and implementation.

Participate in department meetings to troubleshoot production process and equipment problems and spearhead actions plans.

To ensure clear, accurate and up-to-date communication with all relevant departments on any information affecting PPC activities, MPS or related processes.

To ensure safety, health and environment standards are complied.

Requirement:

Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 2 years work experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience in production environment of automotive industry and knowledge in ISO 9001 system would be advantageous.

Proficient in Excel worksheets in work environment.

Experience with ERP system would be advantageous.

Able to use GstarCAD and/or similar design software

Good inter-personal skill and able to work in a team environment.
